Job Description:

The Vertical Market Development Representative is responsible for selling our services by actively seeking out and engaging prospective clients. The Vertical Market Development Representative will deliver and book a qualified number of meetings weekly/monthly and prospect high quality leads to a targeted ideal customer. To accomplish this, the Vertical Market Development Rep is responsible for sourcing opportunities through outbound calls, emails and email campaigns, and lead generation and follow up to set meetings with prospects.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Learns and maintains knowledge of products, pricing, company contacts, and sales guidelines.
  2. Establishes, develops, and maintains positive business and prospect relationships.
  3. Sources sales opportunities through lead generation, outbound calls, emails, etc.
  4. Follows up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  5. Communicates with customers, makes outbound calls to potential customers, and follows up on leads.
  6. Routes qualified opportunities to the appropriate teams for further development and closure.
  7. Meets daily/weekly/monthly call and meeting goals and completes appropriate sales activities.
  8. Schedules appointments with key decision makers.
  9. Presents information about Company products to potential clients.
  10. Completes and updates accurate information related to business profiles.
  11. Prospects by identifying specific client needs.
  12. Leads prospects through top of funnel activities (lead generating).
  13. Attends weekly Sales Team Meetings and meets with supervisor regularly.
  14. Professionally services clients/prospective clients and collaborates with other representatives and departments
  15. Stays up-to-date on industry changes
  16. Other job duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  3. High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
  4. Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
  5. Results-driven and competitive
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; strong phone presence
  7. Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.
  8. Previous sales experience preferred.
  9. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.

 

Compensation: $50-$55k + commission
